What are History Activity Pages?
History Activity Pages are a loose set of activity pages that can be used for Notebooking or with the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia, which is used with the Classical Approach to Homeschooling. If using the KHE, each page corresponds to a section of the encyclopedia and should be used after reading the related section. Also, each page corresponds to the Online History Lessons available. The History Activity Pages individual sets have been left in a loose format for ease of use in Notebooking, however, The History Activity Pages Volume One is bound due to its number of pages.
The activity pages contain the following sections:
*Questions
*Map Activity
*Matching or Creative Activity
Time Line Activity
If you are using the Activity Pages for Notebooking you will need to select your resources. Otherwise, you will need a copy of the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia and a world atlas. You may want to use a globe with the atlas to allow for a better perspective of world locations. An historical atlas is optional, but helpful in understanding present locations in relationship to those of the past. The time line activities are to be used to mark all dates, including key dates, found in the section being studied. These activity pages are complete and user friendly for both parent or teacher.
